Your relationship with the UPM community does not end upon graduation. UPM graduates are welcome to join the UPM Alumni Association, which is dedicated to strengthening the bonds of friendship and networks from a variety of expertise. In fact, many members of the UPM Alumni have been appointed as ambassadors at large for their contributions in their fields, and they have left a big impact on society and the nation and enhanced the university’s reputation at the international level.

Since 1971, the UPM Alumni list has grown to an impressive list of 145,000 people - not only in Malaysia but from all over the world, including Australia, Iran, France, Myanmar and Saudi Arabia. Armed with a desire to foster fraternity with their Alma mater, UPM Alumni have managed to share great ideas and speak critically for the development of a dynamic university in the realisation of our vision and mission.

In 2013, UPM successfully developed a structure of better of research ecosystems and comprehensive in line with current needs. A total of eleven (11) research cluster, ninety one (91) research programme and two hundred forty one (241) research group has been established. Ecosystem research impact directly to the direction of research in UPM. To make this clear structures, academics/researchers are involved in various research programs developed across various disciplines under the research cluster.

Unbounded Creativity is the True Barrier to Innovation Successful innovation does not depend on the volume of ideas generated, but rather on the discipline to execute them. Many leaders are trapped in an endless cycle of ideation because they confuse creative energy with strategic momentum. Creativity without direction only produces chaos; however, when given boundaries, focus, and deadlines, it transforms into tangible innovation. Great leaders understand that creativity is merely the fuel, while innovation is the fire that requires discipline to burn. UPMâ€“SOA Strengthen Strategic Collaboration in Pharmaceutical and Wound Healing Research
