IACUC (Institutional Animal Care And Use Commitee)

The primary responsibility of the Institutional Animal Care and Use (IACUC) is to ensure, on behalf of UPM, that the care and use of animals for scientific purposes are humane and ethical, (and in compliance with the Guide). The IACUC also ensures that the use of animals for research is justified, and incorporates the principles of Replacement, Reduction and Refinement.
